Restricted Inventory

Restricted Inventory provides compliance management by tagging products that require regulatory documentation before sale. Built by Net at Work for manufacturers and distributors using Sage X3, this solution prohibits selling specific raw materials or finished goods to specific clients unless they provide appropriate regulatory documentation. This restriction can also manage purchase orders or block receipt of tagged products.

The restricted class may be used to tag products present on regulatory or governmental lists. In these situations, only certified customers at approved locations may order and receive the restricted product, while others may not. In addition, some facilities may be allowed to store while others are allowed to sell the products but not ever take possession. Further, these items may have maximum quantities that can be stored at any time.

The Restricted Inventory module provides customers with the functionality at the Ship-To level to control products by location. Sales restrictions are removed when customers provide appropriate documentation to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
